Boy Scouts – Kevin R. handed out copies of the last Boy Scouts Gazette
newsletter that detailed Troop 96 activities.

CHRISTMAS TREE SALES
Dec 2007 the Knight's coordinated the Christmas Tree fundraiser sales.
DRUG & ALCOHOL AWARENESS POSTER CONTEST
56 poster entrees were judged on Artistic Merit, Slogan and Overall
Impact. Winning poster move on to the district level.
FAMILY ROSARY & POT LUCK SUPPER
On the first Saturday of each month, our Worthy Chaplain will lead the Rosary
service at 5pm and afterwards everyone participated in fellowship and pot luck
supper around 6pm.
FISH FRY
Mar 9 & 30, 2007 in the gymnasium.
5 to 8pm, St.Gilbert Parish Center $6 fish

FUNERAL PLANNERS PROJECT
The Bereavement Committee members have met with and received approval from
our pastor to purchase 500 funeral planners for the Church community.
GRAYSLAKE YOUTH CENTER
Knight's made a financial contribution to sponsor the Nitendo Wii
game prior to April 2008 Grand Opening.
HALLOWEEN BINGO
Knights hosted children's Bingo, and gave prizes to the winners.
Several groups of 20 children at a time had an opportunity to play bingo.
Brother’s Jim McClure and Bill Homa ran Bingo with prizes on Saturday 10-30-07
at room KC at SGS.
KNIGHTS IN DISTRESS
It's unfortunate but a normal part of life that everyone goes
through a temporary set back for various reasons- loss of job, illness, injury.
A small portion of our budget is disbursed to St. Gilbert parishioners in need
via the St.Vincent DePaul society.

2002: 149 Hardcover books were purchased for the Library cost $1,014.65.
2001: Brother Mark Majewski, Chairman There was an overwhelming response to the
schools Library Match Fund. Due to the parents of the school, we have
surpassed all expectations. Kof C raised $2,000 towards the purchase of
books for the library in 2001. As an added bonus, the library team will purchase
approximately $4,000 worth of books, because books go on sale for half price
close to the end of the school year.

Donate time to collect Christmas gifts for the US Marine Corp to
distribute during Christmas.
Our Family Christmas party includes: pizza party, crafts, toys-for-tots drive
